Sustainability and Water offers solutions to challenges in assessing and implementing
sustainability in the water management area.
Today, sustainability is a necessary component of every project, plan or other activity. Yet, its
assessment and implementation remains often a formidable task.  According to the well-
know Brundtland report, sustainable development is to “meet the needs of the present
generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
We take this ethical statement and deliver results that
- fulfill the expectations of a stakeholders community
- make business sense
- are based on sound science and engineering
Sustainable development is not about a single, arbitrarily imposed outcome.  We see
sustainable development as a process with well-defined milestones and achievable
implementations achieved through the framework of NORIA21SM, a structured process for
sustainability assessment.
